Startup Idea : Bioinspired Remote Monitoring Systems

Idea: Remote Monitoring Systems of Discharge with the help of Bioinspired Algorithms to create Early Warning Signals.

Remote Monitoring Systems: Remote monitoring and control (M&C) systems are designed to control large or complex facilities such as factories, power plants, network operations centers, airports, and spacecraft, with some degree of automation.

Bioinspired Algorithms: The bio-inspired algorithms are broadly classified as evolutionary algorithms, which are based on Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest and natural selection, and swarm intelligence algorithms, which are based on behavioral models of social creatures such as ants, honey bees, fireflies, fish, birds, etc.

Early Warning Systems: Early warning systems help to reduce economic losses and mitigate the number of injuries or deaths from a disaster, by providing information that allows individuals and communities to protect their lives and property.

Area of Application/Consumers of the Device: Agriculture, Energy,  Shipping Industries

Either App based or Equipment Based Decision Support Systems can be created which can predict the abnormality in the discharge of a river well in advance to alert the stakeholders regarding the extreme events that may come in the near future.

Application of Data Science Techniques in Optimal Management of PeriUrban Watersheds

What is the Work Plan? After the watershed is selected the data on water availability needs to be calculated from the climatic and hydrologic data. The total population of the watershed also needs to be collected and per capita, water availability is required to be approximated. Now you can generate a choropleth map indicating the per capita water availability. If the variation within the watersheds as indicated by the choropleth map is much more than expected then the watershed is vulnerable and needs to be managed optimally. Otherwise, it is assumed that the watershed is already managed well.
